'Poet Lies' is a reverb soaked odyssey that sonically pulls from a broad list of influences, ranging from 70s glam rock to 90s shoegaze. The record was tracked and produced at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas by Manuel Calderon - aka El Cosmophonico- and mastered by Heba Kadry.

Moondaddy is helmed by multi-instrumentalist Cara Potiker, and the upcoming album 'Poet Lies' due out Aug. 18 on Volar Records. Moondaddy's sound is indie, moody and dreamy, evoking Beach House or Cocteau Twins with a synthed-out shoegaze sonic depth.
